The UNU Institute for New Technologies (INTECH) conducts policy research on the economic and social impact of new technologies in the developing world. Areas of Application: n/a |
The Institute has published various publications (books and discussion papers) on subjects such as distance education, knowledge economy, Internet access in Africa… Some findings have been published in Journal such as Technovation, Telematics and Informatics Journal etc… INTECH has completed a book on ICT and Higher Education in Africa in collaboration with the Centre to Bridge the Digital Divide (WSU) due for publication in April 2003.
