La croissance économique devrait ralentir en 2016 pour atteindre 3.0 % en raison de la baisse de la production pétrolière et des déséquilibres macroéconomiques. Elle devrait monter à 3.4 % en 2017 et 3.6 % en 2018, suite à une meilleure performance dans le secteur non pétrolier et à la levée temporaire des sanctions américaines.

Growth of Sudan’s gross domestic product (GDP) has been estimated at 3.4% in 2014 and is projected at 3.1% and 3.7% in 2015 and 2016, respectively. GDP should be driven by rain-fed agriculture, minerals and oil-transit fees.
