Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Bratislava, on Wednesday 5 November 2014. During his visit, the Secretary-General presented the 2014 OECD Economic Survey of the Slovak Republic and the OECD Review of Evaluation and Assessment in Education: Slovak Republic to the media, alongside Mr. Robert Fico, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, with whom he also met bilaterally.

The Secretary-General also held bilateral meetings with Mr. Andrej Kiska, President of Slovakia, and several high level officials. Mr. Gurría also presented the publications to the Cabinet of Ministers and delivered a keynote presentation at the Economic University of Bratislava.
