Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in South Africa on 16-17 July 2015

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Pretoria on 16-17 July 2015 to present the 2015 OECD Economic Survey of South Africa, alongside Mr. Nhlanhla Musa Nene, Minister of Finance.

 

While in South Africa, the Secretary-General held meetings with several high-level officials, and also presented the survey to the National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC). The Secretary-General also participated in a meeting on the OECD’s New Approaches to Economic Challenges (NAEC) initiative organised in collaboration with the South African authorities and the South African Institute of International Affairs.
